Architecture Adventure - Card-struction with Hannah

Architecture Adventure is week of free events and happenings to explore the places we are in every day. This year's week of activities has a focus on ‘home’ and how to make the most of the places where we spend most of our time.

 

Play with BIG materials and kid-safe construction tools to learn how to make your own 'forts' and cardboard play houses at home. This fun, FREE and drop in activity is great for kids aged 5+ and will allow them to imagine big and play in what they have made. All materials will be provided for them to play on the day.

 

Construction play is great for motor-skills, innovative thinking and will set the groundwork to know if your kid is interested in building and engineering.

 

This activity is guided play, however parents must supervise children at all times.

 

Recommended Age: 5+

 

Parents will also be able to meet the Mercury's waste contractor B&M on the day who will be able to give advice on recycling household materials and give insight into how The Mercury Shopping Centre is efficient and green in it's waste collection.
