Nigel Hubbard’s newest series of work celebrates love in time for Valentine’s Day!

 

Drawing inspiration from the momentous yet simple kiss, Hubbard’s work demonstrates a variation of the gesture throughout time, circumstance, seasons and fairytale. Perhaps you recognise these moments of colour? The artist urges you to reminisce on your romantic moments while you view his work.

 

Nigel is The Mercury’s resident watercolour artist and guides sessions in The Mercury on the first Thursday of every month outside BB’s from 2pm and regular Mondays at The Breakfast Club at Cafe Della Continental from 10am.

 

His work is for sale at £50.00 per painting, if you see a red dot - unfortunately that painting has already been reserved.
