Faces of Autism exhibition

What does Autism look like?

We have the answer and you can see for yourself in a powerful new exhibition. Seventeen young people and adults have volunteered their photographs to be part of an exhibition in the display space on the third floor of the Mercury. Seventeen faces of ordinary people, all of whom are on the spectrum, proving once and for all that Autistic people are just regular folk. The idea rose as part of a conversation that took place during our Steering Group. The group felt that it was important to show that you can’t tell that someone is autistic just by looking at them, and that’s where the idea of an Autism photo exhibition was born.
