LGBTQ+ club Kaleidoscope launches first event

Kaleidoscope is a free social club for LGBTQ+ youth ages 17-24.

 

Kaleidoscope was set up in 2022 when local members were tired of not having a flourishing LGBTQ+ scene in Romford, and feeling like support and advice wasn’t available when they needed it. Based in Premiere Cinemas at The Mercury, they run the first Tuesday of every month from 5pm to 7pm. 

 

Each month the activity varies, from mindful colouring, board games to poetry writing and learning about the history of the LGBTQ+ pride flag. 

 

On Saturday 25th March, Kaleidoscope is hosting Romford Rainbow at Romford Market from 10am until 4pm. Also free to join, there will be music, badge making and film to enjoy. 

 

Kaleidoscope is supported by The Mercury, Premiere Cinemas, The Mayor of London, Havering Council, The No Collective, and the Romford BID.
