We're running autism-friendly grotto sessions this year!

 

Christmas is an absolute feast for the senses – it’s one of the things that we love about the festive season: all the sights, sounds, smells and general festive sensations.

 

   The Mercury understands though that whilst all this sensory activity is exciting & joyous for many, it can have the opposite effect for people with autism or other sensory conditions.

 

Visits to see Father Christmas can be impossible for some families due to the mix of flashing lights, festive music, long queues and for some children, even just seeing grown-ups wearing beards or costumes. You can book onto one of our sensory friendly grotto visits on the dates shown below at the help desk, management suite, the Grotto or email: info@themercurymall.co.uk
